Trip to Oz in two weeks!

Hello,
I am looking for some inspiration! I am flying to Sydney in a couple of weeks, and still haven't planned my itinerary! I will be in Australia for almost a month, and I have swapped and changed my mind so many times, I am almost dizzy.
As I have visited briefly before and went to Perth, Uluru, Cairns, and Sydney, I had considered that I toured along the south coast; Melbourne,Tasmania. Coober Pedy. and Perth. Then I was advised to take my coat and thick sweaters with me; so that was a non-starter.
Then I thought; Alice Springs and on to Darwin on the Ghan~too expensive. Maybe, Port Douglas, Darwin and Broome? Hmmm...
Help!!

If its not too late, then for Sydney I would recommend that you stay at one of Sydney's Eastern Beaches like Bondi or Bronte. You can rent cheap holiday rental apartments , search using google and you will see loads of places. Tama Beach House is one which my parents stayed at last time www.tamabeach.com
