Cinque Terre hotels? online booking?

I'm looking to make reservations for our trip in July and wanted some input on the Cinque terre area.

Can you book rooms online or is this one of those fly by the seat of your pants areas?

It seams pretty cut off and i'm not sure if you can book anything online for here.

Hi Devon,

I noticed that two IgoUgo members who highly recommended Cinque Terre accommodations included the hotels' links for online booking in their reviews--here they are in case you haven't seen them!

Hope those help a bit--maybe someone more familiar with Cinque Terre will know whether it's a good "fly by the seat of your pants" spot. :)

Hi Devon! So excited to hear that you're headed to the Cinque Terre....definitely one of my favorite places in Europe!

That first review is mine that Michelle linked too...and if small guesthouses are you're thing, than I can't recommend this more (but during high season, you'll want to book ahead of time). Just be prepared to walk up stairs...but the view is worth it! Plus, walking is the best thing in the CT anyway with the gorgeous hikes.

If for some reason you get there w/o a reservation, it seems everytime to me that the place filled with private homes with signs on the door offering rooms for rent are in Vernazza. But, also in super high season of July Vernazza is one of the more popular towns, so to find a room you might have more luck at Manarola.

Either way...have an amazing time!
