A lovely small theatre that plays host to some really good events. The two best are the Brecon Jazz Festival weekend, which revolves around the theatre, and Theatr Cymru's regular visits (they work in English and/or Welsh, so pick your performance carefully). The theatre also hosts occasional visits from the Welsh National Opera (only chamber performances) and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
