Isle of Capri Casino

My wife and I were very disappointed in the casino, mainly because it did not have but about six video poker machines and these were located at the bar. There were some other video machines, located in the rear of the casino, but they were not true video poker machines. I heard several complaints from people in this area of the machines not taking their money, especially the nickel machines. We had to try several machines before we found one that would take our money. Also the machines only took tokens, instead of quarters, which meant a trip to the cashier cage. I was also disappointed there were no blackjack games on any of the video machines - the cheapest blackjack table was a $3 minimum bet.

As part of the promotional package we were given $5 to gamble with and I gave that back to them at the blackjack table. Can you believe I had a blackjack and so did the dealer. Shows you my kind of luck.

Other than not having our machines, the casino is very nicely laid out with plenty of room - unlike some casinos I have been in.
