Cool Local Bar

This Place is really a gem on the westside of El Paso. Erin's bar is not much to look at,but the customer and the staff that make this place a "gem". First of all it 's not your trendy type of lounge or dance club, yes it's a BAR. The age range is 21 - 121, you'll see young and old at Erin's. This bar is what you would call a neighborhood bar, everybody knows everybody, and if they don't believe me they will. The staff at Erin's is friendly, and great at pouring awesome drinks. Erin's is also the # 1 Karaoke Bar in El Paso, so yes, you're going to hear some really badly sung songs. But for the most part of it the singers are pretty good. If you want to sing get there early the rotation fills up quickly. The KJ does not play favorites, IT'S A FAIR ROTATION. Erin's is also what can be called as a military hang out. It's a definatley a GREAT BAR TO VISIT.

Erin's is a kick butt Bar, the staff is very great, the karaoke is Awesome here.. it's a bit packed there on the weekends and UNLIKE what some others say the KJ does not pick favorites.. Karaoke is VERY much liked by all and well the "regulars" put their songs in like everyone else and they go into the rotation just like everyone else, if someone new puts in a song or two the ones have already sang get bumped to fill the slot for the new people. On a busy night You might be lucky if you get to sing 2 songs .. And In case u didn't notice its a Bar & Grill Not a club so OF COURSE the aren't big on dancing DuH! it's very fun and its not just some hole in the wall bar .. its great i love it.. I've been in El Paso for 4 yrs and this is the 2nd Place I've found that had great Karaoke and People the first Bar i went to was a hole in the wall but sadly shut down a few months go.. so the adventure to find a new home was on.. and i found.. Erin's Is great.. SEE YA THERE!

Not the greatest place for karaoke but the only place 5 nights a week. Not much on dancing either. The KJ caters to the regulars. Same songs same faces. You will notice them all standing around the DJ booth drinking water. You might get one song in on the weekends. Not that exciting but if you want to sing its the only place on the west side right now.

After bar hopping near UTEP (Univ. of Texas @ El Paso), we drove to another part of town to Erin's where some other people we knew were. You walk in and it looks like a seedy lounge with pool tables and bad carpeting (two or three different 70s styles), but I supposed the people don't go here for that. The crowd was good and relatively young. I was surprised to see that people actually LIKED this place.
There are about 10 pool tables, a few video games, a shuffleboard table, a bar, and a karaoke "room" with a few tables. I had a lot of fun with my friends and their friends, and even watching others sing karaoke was fun. I can't tell you much about their drinks, because all I drank was Bud Light. It was ice cold, which is the only requirement I have.
Overall, despite the looks, it's not a bad place to hang out and play some pool.
