Cookie, previously known as KooKoo, also does great Thai food inspired by Thai home-style cooking and street food. It also does good bar nibbles and slices of pizza.
It's quite a stylish bar and is one seriously large open space, and considering its central inner-city location, it really is worth a visit or two. Being a cocktail bar, beer hall, and Thai restaurant in one, the combination just seems to work on so many levels, and at any time of day there’s a mixed crowd, with students and suits alike. It’s really cool.
