Firstly, Vodoos nightclub has the potential to be outstanding. Unfortunately this is possibly the worst club I have ever been to. The layout of the club is simple--downstairs is for those looking for a relaxed, comfortable night out, upstairs is for those who want to take their life into their own hands! Vodoos is the only club around for miles and EVERYONE from Skibereen goes there because at that time of night there is nowhere else to go. When we went into this club for the first time the first thing I noticed was a distinct smell of feet! The bar is way too small and there are only two barmaids serving up to 500 people! The music is just woeful and the club in general doesn't appear to have been cleaned in months. This wasn't a once off, I went a few times for the lack of anything better to do and it was the same every night.
