Backstage is a club about a ten or fifteen minute walk from the U-Bahn 1 and 7 "Rotkreuzplatz" stop. Take Wendl-Dietrich-Strasse until it turns left and go straight.
There are two small warehouses that play different music each night. A beer garden also plays music and offers a limited escape from the crowded buildings. On certain nights admission may be free, or one liter beers in the beer garden can go for only 1 euro.
NOTE: The club was in the middle of a legal battle to prevent it from being torn down to use the land for public use. Latest rumor was that the club will be moving directly across the street, to the left side of Freidenheimer Bridge.
