Melvins has to be one of the best bars in Saint John because unlike the other ones it's not swarming with young adults and there is usually a great band playing there. Everyone there is just really laid back and happy. There are never fights there, unlike the rougher clubs. The last time I had gone there the band Hot Grits was playing (a local Led Zeppelin cover band). This bar is the best place to get yourself a Corona and just enjoy the music.
