Huge and inspiring, the Augustiner's monks have been brewing up their own beer for centuries...with typical lovely summer weather, best to get their early evening and stake out a large table in the sprawling beer garden..then stroll up, choose a stein from a hooded monk and dunk it in provided cleaning water vat and hand it off to another hooded monk to refill...making it an almost religious beer-drinking excursion that will having your considering joining up...
