It’s more of a younger scene, but every once in a while, you'll see a 40-year-man in a Hawaiian shirt dancing on the bar with a Pacifico in his hand. This place is basically for anyone who likes to dance and drink. The cover charges are usually 30 pesos to 50 pesos ($3 or $5). But some nights they specials, like Ladies Nights (girls drink and get in for free), and some nights they don't have a cover charge at all.
When you walk up, you will see footprints on the sidewalk that will lead you to the booth where you pay the ladies for the cover charge. Then you walk back to the entrance, hand your ticket to the guy, and walk through the gates. Men will be patted down, and ladies will be stopped and asked to check their purse. It's not a big deal, just more of a safety hazard.
Walk in and down the two steps, and you'll see a bar to your left and the dance area straight ahead. I suggest getting your drinks first at the bar to the left. Waiters will stand around out by the bar, ask you what you want, and come back with your drinks and the price. I'm not quite sure how much they are, but I believe beer is 25 pesos and a hard drink is 35 pesos. There should be a sign by the front or by the bar. Tip the waiter 5 pesos or more.
When you have your drink, find a table to sit around or go straight to the dance floor. Don't be afraid to dance on the bar in the middle, but be careful, it's slippery, and watch out for the waiters and bartenders trying to work. I suggest if you want to be on top of something, dance on the picnic tables, stage, or there are cages and little balconies to dance on too. The music is more hip-hop and sometimes techno. But either way, it's always danceable music.
Girls going to the bathroom - make sure you get a piece of toilet paper from the ladies in the bathroom before going into the stall.
