Warning --- Only come here if you are in the mood for good food, excellent drinks, great DJ music and tons of fun. I have been here and never had a bad meal or time. We find it best to come around 8pm, when it’s still not a madhouse but still rocking. During Spring Break, Hammerhead’s is a zoo. A great zoo but still a zoo. There are contests, beer for a buck, radio station giveaways and wall-to-wall students. I ended up here on a spring break night just for the heck of it and I felt like I had returned to the campus! Did I tell you the food is great here -- Ribs, burgers, wings, steaks and seafood. Service is terrific also.

Sort of like a college town bar, but right on the beach. It`s just across the street from the `super clubs` (La Vela and Spinnaker), but not as crowded and cheaper. Great fresh shucked oysters and a good bar. Reasonably priced menu. Gets a little crazy during spring break.
