Before we left for Arizona, I checked into what type of cultural activities I could take my daughter to. We really hit it lucky. The University of Arizona has a theater. The musical "Cats" was playing there while we were on vacation. I went to get tickets and was asked if I was there for the "student rush." I wasn't really sure what that was. Well, it turns out that if you pay cash on the day of the show a few hours prior to the start time, you pay half price. We got incredible seats. To my daughter’s delight, one of the cats came down and was purring against her leg. What a smile she had! That was how our vacation started and it only got better.
