Nightlife in general

Newport has a great nightlife. The ages of the people vary. During the year, they have a younger crowd. Some of the bars are right off the water, so they have a great view. They can get crowded on the weekends, but not as much during the week. There is something for everyone, and it is definitely always a good time when you go out.

There are no nightclubs as such in Newport, but there are loads of pubs to choose from. O'Briens was always good on Wednesday nights for karaoke. The Rhino Bar is good on the weekends for something lively. The Garden was good mid-week for a quiet drink and maybe a game of pool, but my favorite was Aiden’s on Broadway, where we could often be found any night of the week. Live traditional Irish bands often played there!
