I had lived in London for a few months, and this pub is pretty close to London pubs. Food-wise, it’s great, with curry, fish-and-chips, and Shepard’s pie. The food is pricey but good. Bar-wise, they have two. The main floor is all British beer signs and has a pub-like feel. The upstairs is split into a bar and dining area. It is much more cozy up there, but with a limited bar selection. There is loud music on the weekends. They have many beers on tap and in bottles, including some hard to find ones, such as Speckled Hen. They also have spirits.
The people there are a mixed bag. It is located downtown, so there will be people coming out of clubs, theatres, or dinner. Expect different things every night. I was upstairs once, and some guys got out of hand and threw a cup. It hit a stained-glass window, and I was on the other side of that window. I take my parents here, and they had a great time.
