The Metropol has been known as one of Pittsburgh's finest nightclubs. It is located in the strip district. Its interior decor last time I visited it, was all black. Black to lead a type of excellence like that of not many.
Drinks are fairly priced, although they only serve bottles of beer between 3-4 dollars. They are closed for business on Monday and Wednesday.
Their operating days and hours are Sunday and Saturdays - 9pm till 2am. They are open Thursday and Fridays from 8pm till 2am.
Their type of music is modern rock, Alternative, Pop, Rock, Rap. On occasion they have live bands and also dj's. They do have an adjacent club called Rosebud which you may enter at no additional charge. Mixed drinks are about the same price as beer. Their dance floor is very big and spacious.
Bar is frequented by a lot of college types.
