The Beach

The Beach is exactly what you would expect of a nightclub called The Beach. Scantily clad men and women adorn the bar, spraying whipped cream on themselves, and if you pay $10 you can lick it off.

The two-tiered bar is always bumping with loud music, raucous people and dancing fools. It's great. What makes it better is that ladies get in free. Covers in Vegas can be outrageous, so a free entry is welcome to us penny-pinching women.

If you love to dance, and don't even care, go to the Beach.

This club closes at about 5AM, and is usually fun until about 3AM. Have a good time!

We kicked off our week at The Beach on a Sunday night when it was supposed to be jamming because it is ladies night then. There were definitely more ladies than men that night after the place finally got going after midnight. The place was dead at 10:30 p.m.; that's why they offer free drinks to ladies.

The VIP cover charge includes two water-downed "FREE" drinks. Don't buy the body shots unless you don't mind pissing away $20 to lick whipped cream off stuck-up, skinny, only okay looking bartenders. With that said, the party scene and the music was worth the trip to check out The Beach.

The Beach is great for playing darts or pool upstairs while the trendy set dances and bounces downstairs. Female waitresses and shooter girls in bikinis and bartenders in board shorts make this a unique draw for locals, visitors and the convention crowd. The Beach has a decent restaurant inside too.

After being majorly disappointed by Baby's, we decided to hit The Beach which was touted as a guarenteed party zone. Boy were we disappointed. Don't get me wrong, if you're a horny teenager or young adult, particularly a young male, you'll be overwhelmed by the MTV spring break-like atmosphere. Well built and scantily clad guys and gals dance on stage and bar tops to the sounds of what else, beach music. On the hard concrete floor you'll find the same hot guys and gals selling body shots. It's fake straw and plastic flowers everywhere in this dive. If you're in Vegas to get 'faced, and you're under 25, this is the place for you.

We heard about The Beach from a lot of people in Vegas and thought, okay, if everyone's talking about it then we should definitely check it out.

Note to self: Don't listen to everybody.

The Beach reminded me of the bars in Orlando I went to when I was in college. Definitely a place geared toward the male set. Women in bikinis dancing on top of bars to Beach Boys music, men (and some women) taking body shots from female servers clad in bikinis.

Again, I don't know if we were the exception or the rule, but we were able to enter without a cover. Men were charged $20.

An All-American atmosphere surrounds the place - a great place for foreign tourists to visit if they want a taste of "Baywatch America."
