Zum roten Engel

Description

Andreasplatz, which lies in the heart of the city, gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle for a short time. There was a small chapel here until 1792, and if you examine the cobbles, you can see a change of colour marking the outline of the old chapel. In other words, the Rote Engel is situated in a very historical area.

This oasis, from which motor vehicles are banned, is ideal for a summer day, when the cosy atmosphere outside is just perfect. The interior, however, could do with a bit of a make-over. Self-service rules in the Rote Engel. The majority of customers enjoy coffee and the home-made cakes, but small meals are also available.
