Description
This is a friendly place, with comfortable padded benches and a very relaxed atmosphere. The menu is thoroughly German, with serious portions of meat, wurst and gravy, accompanied, when the diner deigns, with 'Beilagen' -- the vegetable or potato side-show. There are a couple of vegetarian options, however, including, on occasion, stuffed crepes. The best choice might simply be the cheese plate, with thick sliced of stunning German bread accompanied by butter, gouda and emmental cheeses. Great outdoor seating on the Marktplatz, right by the Holy Ghost Church.
