Right next to the Mcdonald's on Chong Hua Rd, Zhen Shan Mei Theater is a small two-screen theater surrounded by a jungle of fashion shops. Moviegoers can often be found window-shopping before showtime. The ticket boxes are on the ground floor, but the screens are located on the seventh floor. The movies played here are mostly first-release American productions. Alternative movies occasionally make it to the theater, providing one of the few choices for non-commercial movies in Taipei.
