Conveniently located close to the entrance to Piccadilly rail station, Zest is a funky, independent coffee shop and café providing a welcome alternative to some of the more mainstream US and national chains. The décor is relaxed with pastel greens, light beech wood fittings and a small seating area with high backed metal chairs.
As well as excellent coffee at reasonable prices – a large cappuccino is around £1.40 – Zest offers bagels, pastries, home-made soups and good quality sandwiches such as bacon and avocado on granary bread from £2.
