When the infamous Excapades collapsed (a popular club in Perth), Zanadu arose out of the ashes. Many of the old patrons have returned, proving that the new scene--if a little different--is still worth it.
Zanadu is quite voguish with black leather couches. The DJ is suspended above a sunken dance floor. Music is mostly non-Top 40 dance. Resident DJ's include Big Mac, Lilly and Dirty Den. The bar serves the usual range of alcohol. Most drinks cost around AUD5. Share a Flaming Lamborghini with friends--around AUD30.
