Located in an expensive part of a mainly residential neighborhood, this is a very nice getaway from the more crowded pubs and restaurants of nearby Rush Street. A piano player tickles the ivories every night from 6pm to 9pm. A jazz combo, usually the John Wright trio, takes over until closing. This is a sophisticated establishment, dark and intimate, where you can either stay for drinks (two drink minimum), or choose to have a dinner that combines the lighter aspects of French and American cooking.
