As this pub is close to the university campus it is a favourite haunt of students looking for a typically English atmosphere. Its main advantage is its terrace where, from springtime onwards, you can taste the many different imported beers. In the winter, by contrast, the regulars huddle together inside, where the wood of the interior provides a dark but warm setting. Darts matches and other games are organized and the wide choice of whiskies offered by the landlord, himself typically English, makes it worth a visit. Thursday nights are legendary.
