Irish pubs are in fashion in Bilbao as they are a novelty on the city's drinks scene. Among them is the Wicklow Arms, a little bar which opened in 1995. It's truly authentic, and the landlord is Irish.
It is fitted out in varnished wood and plays soft music, which is the best environment for getting together with friends for an Irish coffee or a beer. Also, in the Wicklow Arms there are a lot of Irish people who mix with the regulars every night.
