Another of Bath's revamped pubs that has changed hands more times than I can remember. No longer a pubby pub, The Weston is an interior designed, fully cleansed, inoffensive sort of pub. A pub where the barmen wear aprons 'a la francais' and greet you at the door. Drinks are slightly dearer than usual (you pay extra for the aprons and the smiles) but the food makes this pub worth a visit. The quality of the food and choice is good, but it is the prices that are bringing the customers in. Lunch for less than £2 in Bath. And it is edible. So if both your bank balance and your stomach are grumbling, then a the short walk from the city centre and check out The Weston.
