Description
The Werkhof Lübeck e.V. is a social cultural centre for alternative modes of working and living. It was founded in 1998 and serves the public good. An important part of the Werkhof is the event hall. You can enjoy jazz, rock and folk concerts, as well as cabaret and drama nights here. At present, some 12 shops and projects - selling all natural goods, for example - also use the former factory hall at Kanalstraße, which was partly renovated and changed by the members of the society themselves. The whole Werkhof project provides safe jobs for approximately 30 employees.
