This show just was not what I expected for the price. Maui Revealed says it is absolutely wonderful, but that guide also got us desperately lost on a hike we took while driving to Hana. So, be careful what you read; the information may be a bit dated, as we found out.

The magician, Warren,is incredibly funny and amazingly gifted. It's difficult to describe the show, but the four of us thought it unique, full of laughs, and well worth the price. Many think it is the best show on the island. Look in the tourist discount books for a coupon and mention it when you make reservations - a must.

One great aspect about this show is that Warren the Magician is really funny and doesn't use foul language in his show, which is really good if you're traveling with children or your grandmother like I was. The theater that you sit in is small and stadium-like. I think that the theater sits only about a hundred people, so you can really see the magic going on. Warren also gets the the crowd involved with the show.

Overall, the entire show was really well put together. I'm really glad that I got to share the this time with my parents and my grandmother. This show is for people of all ages.

As we were on our honeymoon after being married a week earlier in Kauai, we both were delighted to have front row seats. I became part of the show and boy was it great fun. I was in tears most of the time from laughter, even when I was the butt of his jokes. It was just a tremendous evening!

We skipped the dinner and just attended the show as we ate at Longhi's. It was the right decision. People had appetizers and seemed happy but we enjoyed our fine dinner at a great eatery! We also went to Ulalena and it was worth the money, $25 each. The aerial acts were very nice and was a joy to see the spirit of ancient Hawaii being enacted.

We arrived at 5pm, but there's no need to get here too early. We were brought into Annabelle's, an upscale lounge with a ghostly piano player. Entertainment started at 5:30 as Annabelle "appeared" and began taking requests. Drinks, appetizers, and desserts were available until about 6:30, when we were brought into the theatre. Seating was free-form: our entrance tickets told us to enter through the right-hand door or the left-hand door. Those using the right-hand door took seats in the first three rows; those assigned to the left-hand door sat in the back two rows. This wasn't a big hardship, since the entire theatre is only five rows deep! Eight volunteers sat at the counter separating Warren from the audience.

Warren performed for close to two hours, doing his magic and bantering with the crowd. Besides being amazing, Warren was hilarious responding to comments - "This isn't TV... I can HEAR what you're saying!" - and getting a real back and forth going with a few people.

All in all, one of the best evenings of entertainment we've had anywhere.

Warren doesn't advertise much, relying on word of mouth to fill the house. With only 78 seats for each performance and a maximum of two shows a night, it's tough to get a seat on short notice, even using the various ticket services available on Maui. Recently, he set up a website, www.WARRENandANNABELLES.com, that you can use to get tickets in advance of your trip.

You sit in a restaurant type atmosphere and the ghost of Annabelle puts on a dinner show. She does a fantastic job for a ghost. After dinner and the pre-show, you go on in to the magic show. Now this is a very up-close show. There aren't too many people in the audience and you are right in close and almost on top of the magician. Wow, he was good. We couldn't figure most of his tricks and *I* won't give anything away ;-)
