Issaquah's main street is definitely a bit off the main regional theater drag, but this place provides culture to the Cascade foothills. Summer stock productions by local high schools are very good, as are the professional performances. The theater often puts an emphasis on musicals. The quaint downtown area makes this a good place to visit for a day of browsing before an evening of unthreatening, enjoyable theater.
