A few years ago the 'Villa' used to be situated in a residential area near the Hoffnung Kinos filmhouse. Now it can be found at Berliner Platz on the fringe of the city centre. There always used to be a slightly alternative crowd of regulars between 20 and 40, and this hasn´t changed. The Villa Kunterbunt is particularly popular because of its beer garden. The interior´s main feature is dark wood. There are sitting areas on several levels. Small snacks and meals can be ordered here, as well as all kinds of beverages. Two very unusual, but extraordinarily nice dishes are the filled and baked black bread and the goulash soup served in a loaf of bread!
