This place is named after the great east end writer Oskar Braaten, and it is exactly what it should be: an unpretentious dining and drinking place for the locals and for the those who want to see what really is like in this traditionally working-class neighbourhood.
There are 65 seats and the guests can choose one of four small rooms that give the place a homely atmosphere, almost like that of a private living-room.
