Description
Founded in 1992, by a husband and wife team, Vertigo has its studios at the Gerard Behar Centre. The seven member company perform modern and experimental dance. The choreography incorporates video art, improvisation and contact dance as well as influences from ballet and the theatre. The choreographers use movement to investigate human and spiritual issues and to cross political and cultural boundaries.
Vertigo have toured extensively in Europe, as well as China. In Jerusalem, they perform at the Khan Theatre and Gerard Behar Centre. The company also put on performances for children and teenagers, which can be translated.
