Description
Royal blue shutters and cream outer walls distinguish this restored French villa. Very popular with expatriates, it resides majestically on a narrow French Quarter street packed with street vendors.
Inside, old tin advertisements occupy wall space alongside dartboards and chalked declarations of 'happy hour' (4-8pm). Outside, the verandah beckons with its chunky wood furniture and blue and yellow livery.
An extensive Western menu offers a number of special treats, including chicken enchiladas (USD5), and deep-fried Camembert (USD4.50). A set dinner will set you back USD6, while a bottle of house red will cost you USD15.
