Grünerløkka has over the last few years become one of the most attractive parts in the city, for housing, new establishments and going out. Here you will still find small, cosy corner shops that sell everything from records and books to tomatoes, creative theatres and independent record labels. One of these, record company Dbut, is also involved in Vega.
An energetic group of pioneers established Vega as a club/pub concept, often using music or live artists from the underground record company. The music covers innovative house, club and techno. Prices are nice (NOK37 for 0.5l of beer).
