One of several no-smoking cafés that have sprung up around Chicago in the last decade, this coffeehouse boasts an outdoor cafe, a roaring fireplace in the winter and folk music almost daily. Jason Pettus and Greg Gillam, two local slam-scene celebrities, host poetry readings from time to time. Gourmet drinks are served in bowls, desserts on plates swirled with chocolate. Very clean, very neat, with attentive service and no waiting.
