The Döner Kebab was a food virtually unknown in Arequipa until Ibrahim 'El Turco' (The Turk) arrived in the city and established his restaurant, which made popular this hot, spicy sandwich of pork meat. This small place is unique in Peru, and its clients, both locals and foreigners, find its food and atmosphere a good excuse for meeting and enjoying animated conversations. You will also find a dessert store, which provides the opportunity for tasting more Turkish cuisine.
