In existence since the late 1940s, the Tulsa Philharmonic is the city's premier orchestra, offering culture and beautiful music throughout the fall, winter and spring months. A variety of series are offered through the year, including Masterworks (orchestral classics), Tulsa Pops and Chamber Classics. World-renowned solo artists come regularly to perform with the orchestra, currently under the musical direction of Kenneth Jean. The Philharmonic performs at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, located at 3rd Street and Cincinnati in downtown Tulsa.
