Description
This triangular space lives, aptly, in the somewhat eclectic and popular Fremont area. It has been a tavern since the '30s and if the walls could speak, they would surely have tales to tell. What is the difference between a bar and a lounge? Ask the folks here and they will tell you that the upgrade to lounge status has mostly to do with the amount of surrounding velveteen splendor.
But, alas, there are no cheesy singers, which crumbles the traditional 'lounge lizard' picture. Yes, a dark and moody atmosphere dominates, though the broad windows never allow you to feel totally entombed. Sandwiches, including a hot Philly cheesesteak, and pastas, like the Angel Hair with a Creamy Gorganzola Sauce, are the highlights on a menu that also features traditional pub grub and a large selection of appetizers.
