Description

The Theresienbräu (Theresia Brewery) is situated just opposite the triumphal arch. Together with Krahvogl and the Elferhaus, it represents a type of establishment that has become characteristic of Innsbruck's catering trade since the middle of the 1990s. These places are all equally esteemed by tourists and locals alike. Inside, the Theresienbräu is very spacious, and it is conducted on two floors, but there are still a few small and comfy corners. The concept is rather comprehensive: it integrates a café, a large bar, a kitchen that serves good solid food at fair prices and, of course, the brewery. Theresienbräu's own cloudy beer speciality is served very young and goes very well with a Bavarian veal sausage or a pretzel.
