Founded in 1955, Theatre Virginia offers high-quality traditional theater. Its talented professional actors present plays like a musical adaptation of the Christmas favorite, It's a Wonderful Life. Previous seasons have produced classics such as My Fair Lady and Sweeney Todd and recently, an original piece by American screen star Steve Martin. The theatre has a strong ensemble and offers well-directed productions.
Theatre Virginia also sponsors 'New Voices,' a program that encourages young playwrights by producing their work.
