Description
One of the many concert venues in Philadelphia, this old movie theater now serves up the latest, though not always the most renowned, musical acts in pop/ hip-hop culture. While equipped with a bar and bouncers with attitudes, there is also a balcony for the more 'civilized' concert-goers. The TLA receives many musical acts that aren't large enough for venues at such spots as the Electric Factory or the First Union Center. Artists ranging from Liz Phair to Transam have contributed their talents to TLA shows.
Tickets can be purchased at the front desk or through TicketMaster, most of which fall under the $20 price range (plus the wide range of TicketMaster service charges).
