Description
Although it is in east Tokyo and, therefore, a little bit off the beaten track for the average traveller, Sumida Triphony Hall is an excellent concert venue. It consists of two halls, one seating 1,800 and staging orchestral concerts, the other seating 250 and presenting mainly recitals or chamber music. On weekdays, concerts usually start at 7pm, while on weekends there are generally two shows, one at 3pm and the other at 6pm. Inside the hall there is a bar corner that serves drinks, including alcohol and light snacks such as sandwiches.
Ticket prices vary with the performance.
