Description
This pretty church, built in the middle part of the 18th century, is renowned for its fine acoustics, making it an excellent venue during the annual International Music Festival. The building has a unique look with identical black towers that stand like small candles on the roof, and over the years the church has been the subject of many fine oil paintings, some of which can be found in the markets around the Largo do Senado.
