Skyline Stage at Navy Pier

This is a very nice venue to see music. The acoustic are very good for an outdoor theater. I have seen rock and jazz at the Skyline Stage. The summer concert series is announces in the spring and some shows sell out fast. On a nice summer night, this is a great place for a date or a group of friends. There is only assigned seating - no blankets and picnicking. There is a lovely landscaped outdoor patio adjacent to the concession area where it is nice to listen for awhile. It is Chicago's only performance pavilion on the lake. The theater is covered and shelters concert-goers from the lake winds. Skyline Stage is open May through September.
