A Great Way to Spend a Day at Sea

The Sea Escape is an older ship but is still filled with charm and good service. The staff was super friendly and handled the boarding experience quickly and orderly.
The staff really tries to please everyone, there was a lively band as we left Ft Lauderdale with free samples of tropical drinks as well as cooking demonstrations to entertain you while you relaxed on the different decks.
The buffet had plenty of choices of fresh salads, fruits and healthy foods, as well as desserts. The lunch was well worth the money.

The casino was OK, and I really enjoyed the live entertainment they provided in the lounge. My husband and I spent $27;95 each for 4 and 1/2 hours of relaxation, good food, good entertainment.
It is not the Queen Mary but well worth an afternoon of sun, ocean and fun. I would go more often if I lived in Florida, what a deal

This was not a great experience... My husband and I went on the dinner cruise and the website is misleading. The buffet didn't have a variety and the food was not good! You only had access to the buffet for 2 hours instead of the entire cruise, like most cruises and even how they used to do it before years ago. There was no worthwhile entertainment on the boat, except for gambling if you are a fan of the casinos. The weather and the scenery were beautiful and being on a boat does feel great, but the pool was closed and I found that people were sitting around bored. Any extra activity outside of the buffet that you already paid for was an extra cost, even the late night breakfast they had at the end of the dinner cruise that was in the buffet area. I would not recommend this cruise line for this type of experience to anyone!

The Sea Escape Casino Cruise was a fun night for my mother and I. For $25/per person (and now they are running a two-for-the-price-of-one special), one receives a dinner buffet and a night of fun. There were many activities to choose from. Another plus for those who are underage is that you only have to be 18 to gamble. The food was okay, nothing great, but you can upgrade to better food for a nominal fee. Overall, I would recommend the Sea Escape for something to do, especially if you like to gamble.
