Our first evening we had not booked and had to wait about 20 minutes. We did not mind the wait as we were given complimentary glasses of wine. The wine was so delicious we purchased a bottle to have with dinner. The service was pleasant, well-paced and informally friendly. You should try the antipasti platter which really showcases the quality of the food at this restaurant. We enjoyed a selection of pastas and main courses ranging from pumpkin and sausage orecchietto to wild boar carpaccio. They do the traditional food very well, too - the tomato and basil gnocchi was perfect. We are not gourmands so a few of the choices were new, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable adventure that we would happily experience again.
The soft background music was interesting - Maurice Chevalier, American jazz classics and etc.
The prices were very reasonable. Two courses with coffee and wine was about 60 euros.
