Royal Navy Tot CLub

Description

If you're seeking an unusual evening out, drop by the Nelson's Dockyard and watch (or maybe you can participate in) the evening 'tot'. Bring your humor with you, as the members are full of that and cheeky attitude.

In true British Royal Navy tradition, the Tot Club meets at 6pm nightly. A tot is a jigger of rum, toasted in unison—a time that signals the end of another working day. The most often heard toast is, 'To wives and lovers—may they never meet' and then, 'the Queen!' Once the toast is done, others are invited to socialize until whenever.

The Tot Club participates in many charitable and volunteer projects to aid local needs and is comprised of a group of men and ladies who live in the English Harbour area.

Typically, the evenings begin at the Copper and Lumber Yard Hotel and once a week the venue changes to the other side of the harbor, at Colombo's.
