From the first sunny days of spring, a chic clientele rushes to this immense semicircular terrace in the heart of downtown Bordeaux; it's the perfect place to see and be seen. Expect to pay about EUR1.50 for a coffee. Inside, there is a large room decorated like a Parisian café, with a huge wooden counter. Lunch and light set meals are always available, and the service is very fast and extremely polite. Free jazz evenings are organized every Friday evening from November through April.
