You won't see many indoor shopping malls in Great Britain, so when we saw this one, we had to check it out!
It has 60 stores and 12 restaurants in it, as well as restrooms, a cash machine, baby changing facilities, an elevator, and escalators. It's a good place to pick up one of those wool sweaters that Scotland is so famous for.
It was very similar to the typical malls back home in the States, except for the unique decor - lots of odd metal sculptures and such.
Here is where we had the best fish and chips during our 9 day Great Britain trip. They were from a fast food place in the mall. I also found it amusing that condiments, such as "tomato sauce" (ketchup) packettes, weren't free!
As in most places, the mall closed rather early, 6 pm, as I recall.
