Humbly beginning as a small part-time orchestra performing in a local high school auditorium, Arizona's only professional symphony orchestra now annually performs more than 160 concerts from September to May. High musical standards have brought national recognition and attracted world-class artists to make guest appearances with the orchestra such as Yo-Yo Ma, Placido Domingo and Andre Watts.
